Fashion Technology course primarily focuses on developing technical skills related to fashion and apparel.

The significant areas covered by course are fashion designing, portfolio development, pattern making and grading, apparel manufacturing technology, production planning and quality control, fashion and apparel management and functional textiles.

B.Tech Fashion Technology enables the students to get specialized in areas like art and craft, surface ornamentation, fashion illustration, flat sketching, computer-aided-designing, portfolio preparation, draping modeling techniques, fashion forecasting, fashion show, etc.,
The course empowers the students to learn the key aspects of fashion and apparel technology through extensive theory classes, intensive practical session, industrial visit, industry internship and portfolio development.
The periodic industrial visits for the students to various textile and garment industries nourish their first-hand knowledge in their area of specialization.
The special lectures by the industrial experts give wide exposure to the students to know the current trend and technologies adapted in the fashion and garment industry respectively.
