Objectives of this Kinematics and Dynamics laboratory are to impart practical knowledge on design and analysis of mechanisms for the specified type of motion in a machine. With the study of rigid bodies motions and forces for the transmission systems, machine kinematics and dynamics can be well understood.

Demonstration exercises are provided with wide varieties of transmission element models to understand machine kinematics. Various experiments with governors, gyroscopes, balancing machines and universal vibration facilities are available to understand machine dynamics.

The objective of this Manufacturing Technology Laboratory is comprised of two shops namely: Machine shop-1 and Machine shop-2. In manufacturing practice students are exposed to do various machining process in which a piece of raw material is cut into a desired final shape and size by a controlled material-removal process according to a drawing given to them. This laboratory makes the students to get hands on training in every machines in the laboratory.

Our College has the state-of-art Mechatronics Laboratory. This laboratory comprises design of circuits with logic sequence using Electro pneumatic trainer kits. Simulation of basic hydraulic, pneumatic and electric circuits is done using software. Simulation of Circuits with multiple cylinder sequences in Electro pneumatic using PLC and Servo controller interfacing for open loop. This laboratory equips the students to practice the interdisciplinary applications of electronics, electrical, mechanical and computer systems for the control of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Metrology, the science of measurement, helps the manufacturers to attain the proper fit and finish for their products. It embraces both experimental and theoretical measurements and determinations at any level of uncertainty in any field of science and technology. The Strength of Materials Laboratory was established at the time of starting of Mechanical Engineering Department in the year 2010. This laboratory is fully equipped with all the necessary machines with the accessories for conducting laboratory classes for the under-graduate courses in mechanical and civil Engineering. It is equipped with the major equipments like Universal Testing Machine, Torsion Testing machine, Rockwell Hardness Testing Machine, Brinell Hardness Testing Machine, Impact Testing Machine, Muffle Furnace and Metallurgical Microscopes. Students gain the practical knowledge through these equipments with the help of the laboratory manuals.

Thermal Engineering Laboratory is offers the practical courses to our students. This laboratory consists of various components, cut section model and experimental facility of IC engines by varying the fuel, number of cylinder and types of loading, steam boilers, steam condensers, various boiler accessories and mountings. In addition to that, it has research facilities like fluidized bed heat transfer and transient heat transfer apparatus. This laboratory has a potential for understanding the concepts of three modes of heat transfer viz., conduction, convection and radiation. The laboratory is constructed to provide the experimental knowledge on combustion theory and for analyzing the performance of IC engine.
